Highly recommended.

Light workload, perfect for final year students. The date of presentation can be chosen by urself, can avoid clashing other deadlines.

Estella was very nice. It was like going to a counsel with a social worker. No stress, inspiring, and comfortable to be in the class. Learnt something every lesson, about myself and how to be a good person.

I took the night course, which was also attended by many part-time students reading social work. At first, I thought the competition might be great, but the result turned out not bad, but of course like any other course, you have to work hard.

I checked the ge guide and thought the grades shd be fine as so many ppl got A range,but it turns out that this ge may be 伏:'(...The tutor is passive... there is not much things u can learn from this course. If you don't wanna learn much, feel free to pick this course!

The content of the course is very interesting.
Every Lesson has role playing or tasks which is funny, and let you know more about yourself.
No homework No Test No Exam
You will have to hand in a ~1200words report which like an incident review
It's easy (no matter for a year-1 student).
The project is important , luckily Estella is a fantastic teacher, good grading!
I thought I can get a A but it's still satisfied for a A-.

Estella is a helpful tutor. Besides 20% on active class participation, 40% is on presentation while the last 40% is on term paper. Easy to cope, highly recommended.

20% Participation︰上堂hea下hea下做role play,答問題吹兩句水。但係唔好走堂囉。鍾意可以做埋Class rep.,傳說有分加。

40% Presentation︰其實都幾hea,最緊要夠搞笑同有interaction with audience,PPT最好小字(這是常識吧!)

40% Term Paper︰其實quote 3、4個theories再吹下水,講下daily experience,千幾字冇難度。

同埋Linda都算幾派grade下。

堂上有好多唔知做緊咩既ROLE PLAY,比左好多時間4-5個人小組傾計,成日傾另一樣野,唔洗好認真。

上堂問問題,除非佢點名問問題,唔係我都唔會主動答。(會計入參與分)

得一個PRESENTATION 同 一份PAPER。
PAPER 姐係將THEORY APPLY 返去你PAST EXPERIENCE,好簡單,唔使點用時間。
PRESENTATION 又係同APPLY D THEORY 有關,都幾易做。

整體黎講,我都幾摺,但係對我黎講都唔算伏科XD,野又真係唔使點花時間。

上堂要take attendance 唔好走多過三堂 堂上都係做吓role play咁 幾好玩 周不時問吓啲好易答嘅問題送吓participation分咁 Present唔好重覆佢lecture嘅嘢 最好topic都唔同 範圍一樣就可以 英文練好就最好 Paper都喺啲類似reflection嘅嘢 幾好寫 佢要啲乜其實講得好清楚 跟住就OK

**Attendance is seriously consider in the grade, don't skip a lesson!!!

workload唔算太大,一般.
課程都幾得意,其實都生活化.
不過上堂每堂都要roleplay的確麻煩少許.

自問final report 都做得一般..(因為有另外一科同時要present)
不過係平時上堂有舉下手幫佢手做統計點人數,同埋只走過一堂.
maybe 平時分搭救. (This course aims to let you become more active, so better to be 主動)

By the way, Mary is a good tutor coz her teaching is quite interesting,
not bored at all.
And she will give useful advice to you to make your group presentation and individual report better.
Strongly recommend you guys to reg her as your course instructor.

平时没有任何reading或作业,只要做好final paper和group presentation就可以得比较好的分数。Mary人很好。不过内容不太有趣。
