佢好好 成日遲開始 break好耐 又成日早放
上堂好輕鬆 悶就難免既
頭個幾份assignment個分都幾高
但最尾一份炒左 得average mark
有呢個grade都好意外
無想象中咁差

總之, Kevin值得reg

超伏tutor, killer!!!勁手緊,三份篇文個mean都勁低(10.1/15, 12.7/20, 17.5/25),堂堂早放,後尾果幾堂根本系揼波鐘,完全學唔倒野,功課0指引,根本唔知佢要d咩,比埋d垃圾comment(連字體格式都捉—" for instance there is only italicization in the second half of the list. ", "Your font also changes halfway through your end reference list. ")
我明明dse有 4,overall得 58.5%, 最後炒埋得個D要retake!!!

超chur,不停有assignment交, sem b 讀會好啲
marissa係十分nice 同funny既tutor,
我基本上次次都係highest,有1,2次係低highest小小
重點係一定要交draft,佢要你改既野你一定要改,
如果佢忙改得好小,咁要落堂當面主動問佢可以點改善<-超重要
做deadline fighter個grade會危險
呢科係我今個sem花最多時間但個grade 最差既一科
不過如果比我再揀,我都係會reg番 marissa
利伸,考過2次dse 英文 1次lv3 1次lv4 writing 2次都係lv3

講真呢個course都幾煩
又要拍片,整infographic,present同作三篇essay
雖然有學到啲野,但我覺得有啲assignment都幾無謂,例如infographic我真係唔知整黎係為乜。
至於導師方面,Hannah其實好好人,好肯比建議,俾分都ok,之所以會B-係因為我英文不嬲都差。。。

英文本身唔算特別好既人最好唔好reg Allan 因為佢唔係點會同你講點做份功課 亦唔知佢既要求係咩 比較難捉摸 不過佢上堂成日玩遊戲 又唔講powerpoint 都幾hea

上堂輕鬆,不過講得好快,有時要落堂問清楚功課要求。做draft 一定要認真,會比番comments,佢話唔好就一定要改。

伏tutor, killer!! 佢比我地全班嘅分都勁緊手同低分(例如好似Descriptive Essay我地班個mean竟然得10.1分), 上堂勁hea冇咩心教(不過因為咁,成日落堂都早放), 比功課接近0指引, 根本唔多知佢想要d咩
我dse writing5, 份份都落足心機做, assignment overall 73%, 最後B-

一個killer,每次功課問佢意見都係求其答你幾句讚幾句,跟住每次出成績都好差,你都唔知可以點improve。上堂悶,照powerpoint 讀,完全唔覺幫到英文。

He is a funny person, you will never feel bored attending a 3-hour lesson. He is also willing to answer our questions regarding the course assignments. He releases our marks few weeks after the assignments are handed in, so you can have an idea of how much marks you will get finally after summing it up. I do recommend him!

首先,我覺得Mable對學生真係好好。份Assignment交之前,你可以send俾佢睇下,佢會俾意見你去改善。而佢會好欣賞勤奮嘅同學。
講書亦唔悶,氣氛係輕鬆嘅~

至於工作量方面,UE有六份assignments, 分別係descriptive essay, personal statement, elevator pitch, infographic, three-minutes talk同argumentative essay, 另外計in-class participation and attendance. Workload唔會好大亦唔細。Mable會叫你睇UE呢科個網頁嘅reading, 但佢通常只會問你睇左未。

而成績方面,我嘅習作分數如下:
Descriptive Essay: 11.5/15
Personal Statement: 16/20
Elevator Pitch: 4/5
Infographic: 8.5/10
Argumentative Essay: 20/25
Three-minutes Talk: 8/10
In-class participation and attendance: 12/15
比分唔算手緊亦唔算手鬆,不過Department通常都會跟據整體表現調整個分。

Overall嚟講,Mable係一個好好嘅老師。I do recommend her!

Zach 絕對killer
hea到仆街,問佢野三唔埋兩句就會feel到佢唔係幾想應你
最常叫學生去ELC,話佢無可能答到咁多學生,每次問多兩句就叫人去ELC
去Zach班既預左自己既分同其他班比起差
同埋個人覺得Zach都幾睇人比分,tips: Flattering is one way to get good grade!:)
但係唯一既好處係HEA!冇in class writing!
雖然dse英文都係得5,但個人認為未去到只拎B﹣

Louisa 比分係比較嚴謹,但係為人好nice,佢經常都有提到個course係highly competitive,其實係暗示左你要比多少少effort落去,例如:consult多D,寫文check同改多幾次就ok,佢唔會介意,仲會好樂意幫你。至於workload方面其實唔係話好大,因為都係主要寫幾篇大約幾百至一千字既文(descriptive essay,personal statement,argumentative essay),design一個 infographics,同準備一個3 minutes presentation。最重要係每篇文都有足夠時間去prepare。雖然每篇文我幾乎都係第一次接觸同寫(除左argumentative essay),但係其實都唔緊要,最緊要係睇你有冇心寫既啫,tutor發現到你用心努力,你就成功。

After reviewing several comments , I doubted whether A range is achievable in this subject, especially for Allan's class. In my view, activeness is definitely one of the crucial elements getting an A in his class

As my oral presentation was not so good (overrun for half minute), I'm stunned to know this result at the first glance. I strongly believe that A is granted with my enthusiasm towards asking and answering questions during classes.

Agree with previous comments; if you want to learn, you'd better not to reg Allan as your tutor. Even his spoken English is native American, he is an "over laid-back" guy (1.does not response email 2. no plan for teaching 3. don't give back grades for assignments)

Only one thing is good that you can earn how much you've paid.

Anyway, I've given all negative comments in his ELQ.

Jessica is a dedicated teacher who taught with heart. She gave adequate directions and detailed comments on each assignment. However she wouldn't give comments on draft essays. The only consultation we had was on the outline of the arguementative essay, as for other assignments, you would only get consultations from your peers. Therefore it is crucial to have a clear understanding on the essays requirements. As long as you have followed her guidelines and fulfilled all requirements of the assignments, you'll be fine.

Jessica organized activities and group discussions to make the lessons more engaging. There were 2 in class writing in total. The group presentations were useful for preparing assignments such as the elevator pitch and the 3 min talk since she provided us with tips and feedback after the group presentations.

I think Jessica marks reasonably (maybe on the somewhat stricter side since some students scored pretty low). My friend and I have similar English level and were both taught by her. She scored 1-2 marks lower than me in every essay and managed to get an A-.
If you have a good foundation in English, there is really nothing to be afraid of in this course. Just put a little effort in the assignments, be more attentive, participate more and speak in English in class, this course is really not that 伏like everyone said.

Anthea 好好人, 不過唔好expect佢會俾靚grade
印象中佢完全冇鬧過人, 有幾次唔記得交hard copy 都冇事
上堂會係咁叫人答問題, 但係唔識答都唔駛驚, 佢會俾提示你引導你答
上堂氣氛ok啦, 未至於會悶到瞓着嘅
不過Anthea俾分一啲都唔鬆手, 甚至可以話係緊
自問喺班入面算係英文比較好嘅一群, 冇走過堂, 完全冇諗過個grade會爛成咁
可能唔關tutor事, 不過上咗成個sem基本上一啲野都冇學過
另外如果你好執著要一個英文好嘅英文tutor, 咁我建議你唔好揀Anthea
你會發覺中學老師嘅英文仲好過佢
